HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the standard markup language used to create web pages. It's the foundational structure behind every website you visit. This language consists of a series of elements, represented by tags, which tell the web browser how to display the content. HTML Tags An HTML tag is a keyword enclosed in angle brackets (< and >). Most HTML tags come in pairs: an opening tag and a closing tag. The content is placed between these tags. The closing tag is identical to the opening tag, but with a forward slash (/) before the tag name. <p>Hello, world!</p> In the above example, <p> is the opening tag, ' Hello, world! ' is the content, and </p> is the closing tag. This entire line of code is an HTML element.
